Dr. Hale is board certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and licensed by the Maine Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
A graduate of Davidson College, Dr. Hale earned a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and gained further specialization in neuropsychological assessment and complex learning profiles at the Learning Lab at Lesley University.
Over the last twenty years, Dr. Hale has provided evaluation, consultation and intervention services in infant mental health, multidisciplinary outpatient, developmental medicine, inpatient psychiatric, hospital, preschool, K-12 public and private school, university, research and private practice settings.
A published scholar in the field of language development, autism spectrum and neurodevelopmental disorders, Dr. Hale continually bases her work on evidence-based standards of care. Her current research interests include best practices for communicating evaluation results and providing meaningful, solution-focused feedback.
